Services


GVS products are offered to customers supported by full line of accompanying services, covering complete product life-cycle. Our services cut expenses and shorten product startup time. GVS also provides R&D services in its areas of expertise.


Product related services

Alongside its products GVS provides the services which can be grouped to: customer support and engineering services.

Customer support services include: technical support, training, hardware maintenance and software maintenance.

Engineering services are: installation, putting into operation, planning, engineering, upgrading и uninstallation.


Product related services availability throughout the product life-cycle



Product lifecycle spans from the start of product sales until the last product of that type is in service. Each installation of a product lives its own service life which lasts from installation to deinstallation. Product lifecycle refers to product type, meaning all installations of a certain product.

Service life starts at takeover. During the service life, customer enjoys support services, depending on the current product lifecycle phase.

Declaration of "End of Support" doesn't mean that product and customers still using the product are forgotten. After support has ended, GVS makes available resources enabling customer himself or third parties to continue supporting the product. This phase is thus referred to as "Self-support".

There are four phases in product lifecycle:

  • mainstream support phase - product is actively developed
  • extended support phase - from "End of Development" until declared "End of Life"
  • maintenance phase - repair service and spare parts are available, software is actively maintained
  • support phase - GVS service center does not provide repair services, but offers technical support to customers or third parties providing those services

Warranty period starts usually starts at product acceptance and it may be different for each product installation. Relating to product lifecycle, warranty period is negotiable.




R&D Services


Product Development

We offer R&D services for electronic products and systems completely lead by technical specifications from the customer.

  • Electronic hardware development both analog and digital, microprocessor controlled systems, power converters and RF units.
  • IP design for FPGA, both purely digital and mixed analog-digital programmable components
  • We develop firmware with optional formal verification, with a vast field-proven library of in-house developed re-usable modules

Software Development

For purely software products, we provide software development services:

  • We specialize in design and implementation of real-time, high reliability and high availability software.
  • In software development, we champion an approach which introduces quality in the design and implementation, with strong and “omni-present” QA to prove the quality rate.
  • We have vast experience in HW/SW co-design and co-verification, which enables development of highly integrated and robust products and systems.
